About Us

Founded in 1854 by Archibald Alexander Rodgers, Rodgers Bros started out as a foundry in the centre of Newcastle.

Building Steam trains, bridges and just about anything that was required at the time with a great degree of skill and commitment to quality.

Around the 1960’s the company turned to Hire, and the same commitment to quality service and attention to detail has been passed on through the generations.

In 1970 due to a lack of space, Rodgers Bros moved to a new purpose built facility, on Newcastle Road Wallsend. The business was now able to expand its equipment fleet and client base as well as diversifying into new product ranges.

The family company, now over 160 years old is still owned and operated by the Rodgers family. Brothers Anthony & Phil have both been in the hire business for over 29 years each and have a vast knowledge of the equipment they hire and match it with their customer’s requirements.

Our dedicated team are able to provide a service not available through the big hire chains. We are Australian owned and run and proud to be a part of the growth in the Newcastle and Hunter region.
